If you are in Years 3 - 6 and can play GUITAR, KEYBOARD, DRUMS OR SING, the East Para Rock Band will be holding auditions Week 3 on Thursday 16th February in the Instrumental Music Room 7.

Don’t be shy to audition, we are there to support you and if chosen your skills will improve quickly in band.   

 

If you are going to audition for

​

Drums:      You will need to play a  4/4 beat. 

Guitar:       You will need to play a song using chords   (tabs if you do not know chords)

Bass:         You will need to play a song with correct timing (rhythm).

Keyboard: You will need to play a song and understand chords.

You must come prepared.  Ask in the office if you have any questions.

 

Vocals:      You must come prepared. Pick up lyrics from the front office when you put in this form. 

The song you need to learn for your audition can be picked up from the front office.  You must learn this song before                     the audition and be able to perform a good proportion of it at audition. 

 

Successful applicants will need to be prepared to sign a band contract stating that they will commit to attendance at every band session and that they understand that they are required to perform at all scheduled performances.  Time must be allocated for practice outside of band sessions.  Presentation standards are important and will be monitored throughout session practices and performances.  All students are expected to give each band member and the band leader their full cooperation and behaviour that interferes with the work of the band leader or the band members will not be tolerated.
